秋元康総合プロデュースの IDOL3.0 PROJECT。
応募総数約10,000名のアイドルオーディションの最終審査で惜しくもデビューが叶わなかった不合格者17名の再挑戦の記録。果たして彼女たちはデビューすることができるのだろうか？
・EP4概要
念願だったデビュー決定の発表がされた彼女たち。グループ名をRain Treeとし再スタートを切ることとなったが、同時にメインメンバーを選ぶセレクションが行われることを知らされ、複雑な想いを抱えながらセレクションに臨んでいく。レッスンが始まり、実力不足の現実に直面するメンバーたち。セレクションのプレッシャーと自主練の毎日に、彼女たちの心はすり減っていった。

🌱グループ名由来🌱
レインツリーは、雨になると葉を閉じます。
雨の中葉を閉じてじっと耐え、
日が出ると葉を開く。
その葉に溜まった雫は地面へと溢れ落ち、
自らとその下に集まる生命に生きる力を与えます。
苦難に耐え抜く強さで、
自らにも周りにも大きな力を与える、
そんな力強く優しい存在になれるようにと命名しました。

Rain trees close their leaves when it rains.
They endure the rain with its leaves closed,
And when the sun comes out, the leaves open.
The water drops that the leaves have collected then fall to the ground, giving strength to those who gather beneath the tree.
Their capacity to endure hardship also gives great strength not only to itself but to those around it too.
We named the company “Rain Tree” in the hope that it will one day become a powerful and gentle being.
